Fuchi and Kashira
This fuchi and kashira is made of black copper (shakudo), but its colour is not deep black. It is not a top quality shakudo. The motif is Japanese plum (ume) blossoms with oblong papers hanging on branches. The papers should be written poems or peoples' wishes on them. The ume blossom is the lead of spring.
