Wakizashi no signature
Blade length 44.8cm, thickness at the base 6mm, width 2.9cm
This is a wakizashi blade in poor condition. The polishing work is poor, because the shape is not properly made. The blade has uneven surface meat. So this blade may be good for amateur polishers to practice shaping work.
Hamon is made of neat temper line, and its pattern is active gunome. It can turn to a nice blade by proper polishing.
Tang, originally no signature
Habaki is gold and silver foiled.
Mount
Most of fittings are missing. Only habaki and the two gold foiled seppas are left. The beautiful habaki and seppas suggest that it was originally mounted with beautiful fittings. And those fittings must be hijacked by antique dealer.

If you would like to repare the mount by yourself, I can give you some fuchi and kashira for free. But I'm sorry we don't have free tsuba or free menuki. We can find a cheap tsuba, though.
