Tanto "Q"

The hardening work is done by a customer, and so is the polishing.

The steel is very fine with full of steel particles. It is clear and blue.

The hamon is made of small particles (ko-nie) and nioi (smallest particles), making a straight pattern including some choji and gunome patterns. The area in the hamon is very clear except for the part around the starting, and the temper line is bright. Utsuri appears around the starting of hamon. Some utsuri appears along the hamon, but it is not clearly seen.

It seems that the part around the hamon starts was not having enough temperature to call clear hamon. But the appearance is interesting to study the relation between the heating temperature and the result of hamon.
