Mt. Tanigawa TonanRyo We went to the TonanRyo climbing. We arrived the parking site at Machigasawa 23:00 7 Oct. We made a small drinking party in the Mr. Fukazawa's car. I decided my limit was 3 beer bottles so that I was not too much drunk by Mr. Fukazawa. I noticed that the time was already passed 1 AM. Soon I slept. Next morning I got up at 5:15. We started at 5:50. At first we went to the Otaki viewpoint via GangouSindo route. Then we went down to the river. Soon we arrived at the Otaki fall and took a break. There were 4-5 other parties around Otaki fall. All of them seemed to go TonanRyo. To avoid going after the slow pace party, we hurried to go forward. It seemed be better to go over Otaki fall from left side. Then good beautiful glassy falls continued. Where the river width became narrower, we climbed the left $@*"(Jor$@*#(Jgrade rock wall. Then we went down to the river. We used a rope here. We went over many falls. For the last fall, all other parties used ropes to climb right side wall. However, Mr. Fukazawa climbed directly the center of the fall. He belayed me, but I struggled of my sliped foot.

We arrived TonanRyo at 9:15. We had lunch and then we had started climbing. We climbed freely because there was no party except one solo climber. I felt the 1st pitch was relatively slight difficult. Climbing order was the top was Matsunaga, then Fukazawa and last Kumagai. Mr Matsunaga complained about brittle lock. At the 2nd pitch, we changed the climbing order, however the changing the ropes took time and it made the following party long wait. Finally, we finished the climbing at 12:00. We arrived TomanoMimi, which is the summit of Mt. Tanigawadake, at 12:30 . The climber at TonanRyo seen from the summit looked very nice. We arrived the parking site at 14:00.
