Hantachi style mount of wakizashi, with a blade in it.

This is a very nice and beautiful mount of hantachi style.
Fuchi, kashira, koiguchi, kurikata, kashiwaba, and kojiri, all of them are original set. Menuki is flower basket.
Blade
Blade length 44,3cm, thickness at the base 6mm, width 2.7cm
The blade is so much shortened that the original tang is cut off.
Steel is fine. It has a wood grain steel layer.
Hamon is made of small particles. It makes well ordered gunome pattern. The temper line (hamon particle band) is neat and bright, however it become blurred in some parts. Utsuri appears clearly.
This is a nice blade, but the blurred hamon in some parts should be regretted. Total taste of the blade reminds us Yoshii school in Bizen or some school in Mino. The age may be 15-16th century.
The polishing is not very good. It has scratches and some stains. The mount is made for this blade, but the value of the mount is higher than the blade.
