Tanto "Nobufusa"
Blade length 20.2cm, thickness at the base 6mm, width 1.9cm
This is a tanto blade with a signature "Nobufusa". It is interesting, but very weary.
Steel has a visible wood grain layer pattern. The steel particles are visible. It is interesting to study the activities of the steel particles.
Hamon is made of small particles (ko-nie) and large particles (nie). The hamon is bright. And its pattern is straight and shallow wave. And it has many interesting activities those are kinsuji, sunagashi, kuichigai and others. Unfortunately the hamon at the tip is worn out.
Utsuri starts around the hamachi clearly.
The polishing work is the modern style (hadori style). The hadori work is a little trouble to study hamon. But you can study it with proper lighting, since the hamon is bright.

Signature "Nobufusa"
You can find several smiths who named "Nobufusa" in books. But we have no idea which one this smith is. Anyway this is koto, 16th century or older.
Habaki is made of copper. And put some gold on it.
